A New Year And A New Name!

MDAA

The Mason-Deerfield Arts Alliance, formally known as the Mason Area Arts Council, welcomes 2010!

For the past five years, you’ve known us as the MAAC. Our new partnership with Deerfield Township has opened new doors to even more arts programming possibilities. We wanted to honor our newly formed relationship with Deerfield Township and our on-going commitment to Mason with a new name that would signify our continued growth for the entire area.

With our collaborative spirit in the arts, we serve many communities in Southwest Ohio. We’re always creating new and innovative ways to partner in the arts.

Our new offices are located at The Snyder House at Cottell Park, 5847 Irwin-Simpson Rd. in Deerfield Township. This lovely home will soon be the hub of arts with summer camps, adult and children’s arts classes, art workshops and artists salons.

Our signature event is the Mason Arts Festival. This year, we will celebrate the 5th annual festival on Sunday, Sept. 19th at the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason-Montgomery Rd.

Enjoy the work of over 130 local and regional artists, performing artists, great food and wonderful children’s arts programming. 11am – 5pm. It’s all free to the community.

Feel free to contact us at anytime. If you have idea that you’d like to share or maybe you’d like to volunteer...let us know.

Enjoy our arts programming for 2010! It’s going to be a great year!
